I organize a monthly Ladies Bunco Night in my neighborhood, and recently was inspired by a friend's koozies and decided that this would be a fun, surprise gift for my bunco ladies this month.

Although I could have made these with my EasyPress, I wanted to use my new Autopress (gifted to me by Cricut). I love how easy it is to use and that I don’t have to “manhandle” closing it; I don’t have to be concerned with pressure; and I don’t have to stand over it continuously. I also appreciate the look of the Autopress—it’s a heavy-duty machine, but doesn’t look like some industrial, mechanical piece of equipment—it’s classy looking. Lastly, I definitely like that it has a built-in fan system that keeps the machine from getting too hot to touch.

I think I mentioned before, I am more of a paper crafter, and that’s my comfort zone. However, having the Autopress is helping me to step outside of my comfort zone and think about what other kinds of projects I really can do, and I love that. I’m thinking my next Autopress project may just be something with wood—another first for me.
